The Dutchess : ''The Moral of leaving a message is not being able to reach the person and leaving a reminder to call them.'' BEEP John Adams

John Adams has been a very influential person in history of the world, here are some reason why I thinks he has his reputation. First, John Adams helped stop unfair taxes caused by the British. He became a lawyer by going to Harvard Law School and studying law. He argued taxation without a representative. He also helped out in the stamp act and the Boston Massacre. He came up with the idea of having a government for each state. Second, John Adams was one of the founders of United States Declaration of Independence. This famous document was approved on July 4, 1776.He also convinced the people to accept the Declaration of Independence. He gave a very powerful speech which was said to the best speech he has ever said that was 2 hours long. He was also in the Continental Congress when this happened. Third, John was elected Vice President. He only got 34 out of 138 votes in the election. The president that one was George Washington. He was very disappointed he did not win. People think it was because John was considered rude or very formal. He found out the Vice President had no power and did nothing. After 8 years George decided to retire and John was elected president. It was a close rase between him and Thomas Jefferson. He was the Second President of the United States. In conclusion, these reasons make John Adams very influential in the world history.
It was supposed to be Adam Smith. I've highlighted a few errors. Can you post your extended metaphor poem here please. Mr. Chester
